When a group of his college friends started running various races in memory of their friend Sam Hicks, an FBI agent lost in the line of duty, Rocky decided to join “Team Hicks” and run for Sam each year.

The ‘homecoming’ race will be the first double-digit milestone for both Kristin and her son, Landen. Taking on the live start line together, this year’s event will mark the longest distance run since Kristin first found inspiration for running in early 2020.
